Our Ministries
Sunday School
Sunday School is a place where people meet to discuss the teachings of the Bible and to ask questions about God, the Bible, and life. We have age-appropriate classes for children, teenagers, and adults where they are taught the great truths of God revealed to us in the Bible. Sunday School uses Bible lessons to share God’s love and to teach how to live as Godly men and women in this present world.
Women’s Missionary Union
WMU is a mission ministry which gives women and girls the opportunity to pray for and give to missions, to do missions, and to learn about missions and missionaries around the world. There is a group for girls, Girls In Action, and preschoolers, Mission Friends.
Baptist Men
Baptist Men is a missions and ministry arm of the Church. It gives men an opportunity to help a hurting and needy world by putting hands and feet to work and sharing the Gospel of Jesus the Christ. There is a group for boys called Royal Ambassadors.
Music Ministry
As a ministry of Sunset Park Baptist Church, the adult choir exists to aid in fulfilling our mission statement. Through congregational singing, special music, and cantatas the choir desires to enhance the unity of the church as it exalts Jesus the Christ our Savior. Individual members of the church to grow in Christ and the gospel of Jesus is shared through the music of our worship services. The choir is led by Ms. Martha Hales and meets on the second and fourth Tuesday nights at 7:00 to unite in prayer and rehearse.
