Our Beliefs:

We affirm the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God, which is the perfect foundation for our beliefs.  While there have been many Statements of Faith in the past, we have chosen as a Southern Baptist Church to adopt the Baptist Faith and Message Statement of 1963 and 2000 as our guideline for the expression of our beliefs.

 In brief, we believe:

• In the inerrancy and infallibility of the Word of God.

• In one God who is the sole Creator of heaven and earth.

• In the trinity in that he has and does exist in three persons that has been

  commonly known as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

• In the virgin birth of Jesus Christ.

• In the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, which paid the ransom for man’s

  sin and purchased for sinful man a home in heaven.

• In the salvation of man by God’s grace alone.  

• In the fact of all men being sinners and thus unable to enter heaven by their efforts.

• In the soon coming return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
