Thoughts from the Week: 11/26/21

Each Friday, I like to share some thoughts, learnings, and reflections from my quiet times during the week. I hope they’re encouraging and helpful!

Be blessed this week,

Pastor Hugh

Believers love the Word of God.

Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble.” Psalm 119:165

Spirit-filled believers love their neighbors.

"For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Galatians 5:14

Those who love the Name of God experience joy within their soul.

But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you.” Psalm 5:11

Obedient believers love the Body of Christ.

"By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments.” 1 John 5:2

There is love and joy for the place of worship for each believer.

O LORD, I love the habitation of your house and the place where your glory dwells.” Psalm 26:8

Jesus loves our enemies so should we.

But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, Matthew 5:44

Because Jesus loves us, therefore we love Him.

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. Mark 12:30
