The Body of Christ is to uphold scriptural teachings and oppose heresy.
“holding firmly the faithful word which is in accordance with the teaching, so that he will be able both to exhort in sound doctrine and to refute those who contradict it.” Titus 1:9

Those who divide and upset the Body of Christ must be lovingly confronted and stopped.
“For there are many rebellious people, empty talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, who must be silenced because they are upsetting whole families, teaching things they should not teach for the sake of dishonest gain.” Titus 1:10-11

Talk can be cheap if a Christian’s life isn’t living proof of faith in Jesus.
“They profess to know God, but by their deeds they deny Him, being detestable and disobedient and worthless for any good deed.” Titus 1:16

Scriptural teaching adorns our Christlike lives.
“Urge slaves to be subject to their own masters in everything, to be pleasing, not argumentative, not stealing, but showing all good faith so that they will adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in every respect.” Titus 2:9-10

Believers are to live with integrity and holiness in this world.
“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously, and in a godly manner in the present age,” Titus 2:11-12

Believers are to be considerate and respectful of everybody.
“to slander no one, not to be contentious, to be gentle, showing every consideration for all people.” Titus 3:2

Believers are to share goodness to those who are burdened down with life’s needs.
“Our people must also learn to engage in good deeds to meet pressing needs, so that they will not be unproductive.” Titus 3:14
