Peace with God removes all fear of death.

"as it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death.  For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Philippians 1:19-20

The best which life has to offer is only a glimmer of what lies before those who are born-again believers in Jesus the Christ.

"But, as it is written, ‘What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him’— these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:9

Sound doctrine acknowledged by the Spirit and authenticated by the Body of Christ keeps a born-again believer from being pushed around by preferences and opinions.

"So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the traditions that you were taught by us, either by our spoken word or by our letter.” 2 Thessalonians 2:15

In the quiet stillness of one’s life, they get to know Jesus.

“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” Psalm 46:10

There is a lowering of one’s spirit in the presence of Jesus.

“Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.” James 4:10

A person’s five senses are not the foundation of their faith in Jesus.

“for we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7
